From Nepal to Venezuela to Togo, young people are finding ways to make themselves heard against forces that would have them silenced – through activism, journalism, poetry, creativity and protest. What does it mean to be young in our world today, in Asia, Africa and the Americas? What are the most pressing concerns? What connects Gen Z through vast geographic, economic and political differences?

Join CORRECTIV for an intimate evening of readings, conversation and solidarity with three young voices who refuse to stay silent. Together, we’ll explore what it takes younger generations to speak up, find allies and turn expression into action – and ask what peer-to-peer solidarity can look like across borders, how this young dynamism can help everyone connect at a time of deepening polarisation.
The evening ends with a chance to take action yourself by writing a solidarity letter to a young person currently imprisoned for speaking out.
